President and co-founder of Stripe John Collison assured that transactions will be processed on-chain and automatically convert stable tokens into fiat assets. The service has already opened a waiting list for users.
The official position of the service: digital coins are increasingly finding real use in everyday life, which means it’s time to make them available to customers.
Increasing transaction speeds and decreasing transaction fees have made stablecoins an important medium of exchange. Customers of the service are promised transactions with the USDC stablecoin on the Ethereum, Solana and Polygon networks.

Previously, Stripe announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency purchase service – the company launched a separate platform that does not require changes in application code.
