Stronging border controls ordered by the new German Ministry

The ban on entry of all immigrants arriving illegally at Germany’s land borders was ordered by the new Interior Minister Alexander Dobrid (CSU). On his first day at the ministry, Mr Dobrid, with an oral mandate, ordered tightening the control of Germany’s 4,000 kilometers of land borders, even on the spot rejection of anyone who attempts to enter the country illegally. The number of police officers serving at the border will increase from 11,000 to 14,000 and the 50 – checkpoints will be increased accordingly, and there will be mobile control units.
