Student Sarah Silva Domingues, aged 28, who was shot dead last Tuesday (23), is being laid to rest in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at UFRGS. After the wake, Sarah's body will be sent to Campo Limpo Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo, where her burial will take place.
In an official note, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at UFRGS declared mourning on the afternoon of this Wednesday (24), and held a farewell organized by the Academic Directory (DAFA), a collective of which Sarah was part.

The student was doing field research on Ilha das Flores, in the Arquipélago neighborhood, in Porto Alegre, when two individuals passed by on a motorcycle and fired shots in front of a commercial establishment.
According to the Civil Police, the crime happened in the early evening of Tuesday, in addition to Sarah, a 53-year-old man also died.
Police chief Thiago Lacerda revealed that the man had a criminal record for carrying a weapon and threatening, and that he would initially be the target of the attack.
The 2nd Homicide Police Station of Porto Alegre is investigating the case.
