We try, we try timidly to reopen to the world and the younger kids couldn’t wait to get their life back in their hands: if already in 2020 (source: survey carried out by Laboratorio Adolescenza in collaboration with Interculture) 36% of high school students would have liked to attend one year of school abroad, today even 62% of high school students want to do this experience and since the beginning of July hundreds of students have already left for various destinations. or less distant and others have only postponed it for a few months, waiting to have even more deep-rooted certainties that the health situation will allow the program to run smoothly. «By the end of October», they say from Intercultura, «we estimate that we will be traveling more than 1,300 teenagers».

To have these experiences, however, it is necessary to organize yourself in time: you need to do some paperwork, understand the receptions and possible matches. And so Intercultura has already opened the call for the next school year 2022-23, whether they are programs for the summer period, for two months, three, six or for a whole year.

There is time to register until 10 November and the call is open to children born between July 1st 2004 and August 31st 2007.

Also for this year the competition announcement provides that students who need financial support can take advantage of one of the hundreds of total or partial scholarships made available by Intercultura through its own fund dedicated to this purpose. In addition, hundreds of other scholarships will be available thanks to donations from numerous organizations, companies and foundations. To get an idea of the cost: a year in Poland costs 11,600 euros, in the United States 17,200, in Australia even 24,800: “But two out of three students manage to get scholarships”, they assure from Intercultura.
