In China, a new Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2106118C has passed certification, which should be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon SoC, support for ultra-wideband UWB technology, and a sub-screen front camera.
According to Phone Arena, this flagship device should replace the popular Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro series of smartphones on the market. It is quite possible that the novelty will also be presented in two versions.
Ultra-wideband technology is used with location devices such as Apple AirTags and Samsung SmartTags. It is likely that Xiaomi is planning to release its own tags that can be attached to keys or a pet’s collar to quickly find them.
Another feature attributed to the new smartphone is 120W fast wired charging and 70W wireless charging. More recently, there have been reports that Xiaomi is planning to provide its upcoming flagship devices with 200W wired and 120W wireless charging, however this is unlikely to happen this year.
