“Succession”: the actor who plays Greg reveals news about the 4th season

the fans of “Succession” prepare to say goodbye to the series, which is on the air with the fourth and final season. Every Sunday a new episode is shown on HBO and available on HBO Max at 10 pm.

Just like the viewers, the actor Nicholas Braun who plays – the cousin – Greg Hirsch, has mixed feelings about the end of the series.

“I think the season is so amazing. The things that all the characters, [incluindo] my character, pass is simply amazing. So I feel very happy with the result, but I will miss the team a lot”, he said.

According to him, Greg is feeling more confident this season with a bigger role on ATN, and his look shows it.

“He’s picking out the suits: brands and price matter. The same goes for shoes and watches. Greg got another watch or two in the meantime [entre os episódios] where we didn’t see him. So he definitely has more money coming in now, a bigger salary,” he revealed.

“He’s trying to be a more well-rounded man in the business world. He has more responsibilities. He’s supervising other people, so I think he feels like a mini boss. A ‘miniTom’ maybe”.

Speaking of Tom, played by Matthew Macfayden Braun said the pair are now at the top, where no one can knock them down.

According to Braun, what fans can expect from Season 4 is: “Business, a family doing business.”

Looking back over the past seven years, since he started working with the production, Braun evaluated his evolution by participating in the production.

“You’re in a big cast, you can’t turn to the director or screenwriter for every decision. I liked coming in with three, four options on how to do the scene and knowing how I was going to do the first few takes,” he explained.

Because the writing is so heightened, I think it trained me to read a script differently, to look for details and pay more attention. Jesse [Armstrong] and the other screenwriters write the characters’ stories with contexts of years and years. They put so much humor and intent into it that I don’t ever want to miss an opportunity they give Greg.”

Braun also revealed what was his favorite scene to shoot. She is in the 10th episode of season 2.

“The scene on the yacht, where everyone is [presentes]. The big round table scene where everyone is talking about who should be held accountable for the cruise ship scandal. It was a very beautiful acting experience. It’s a scene that’s probably 10 to 15 pages long, with all the main characters sitting around,” she recounted.

“The script is incredible. You can see how clearly the actors understand their character. It was a beautiful scene to be a part of.”
