Sudan Rick Macar’s Vice President was arrested in his residence

Sudan’s vice president, Rick Makar, known for his long -term rivalry with President Salva Kir, was arrested Wednesday at his home in Juba, according to a statement issued by the Chairman of the International Relations Committee of his party. “We strongly condemn the unconstitutional actions (…) of the Minister of Defense and the head of the National Security, who, accompanied by more than 20 vehicles with heavy weapons, have hardly stormed into the residence of the first vice president. His bodyguards were disarmed and arrested for arrest with vague charges, “according to a statement released via Facebook by Rith Much Tang, Mr Makar’s International Relations Officer of International Relations.
