Congratulations! After months of speculation, we have confirmation that model, actress and musician Suki Waterhouse, 31, is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson, 37. This baby will be very cool.
Waterhouse revealed the news while on stage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico on Sunday, November 19. In a video captured by a fan in the crowd, Waterhouse is seen wearing a tight, sparkly dress (which does little to hide her baby bump) under a fluffy feather coat. “I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” she joked, according to the video shared on X. “I’m not sure if it’s working.”
Aside from the onstage comment, neither Waterhouse nor Pattinson have spoken publicly about the pregnancy.
The British couple have been linked since July 2018, but have mostly kept their romance under wraps. Pattinson doesn’t use social media, and Waterhouse’s Instagram presence is Rob-free. However, they ultimately made their red carpet debut in December 2022 and attended the Met Gala together earlier this year. In February 2023, Waterhouse told the Sunday Times “I’m shocked that I was so happy with someone for almost five years.”
Pregnancy rumors began circulating in the fall of 2023, when Waterhouse was spotted with what looked like a baby bump and fans noticed that she followed pregnancy and parenting accounts on Instagram. Suki Waterhouse’s most recent project was the Amazon Video adaptation of Daisy Jones and the Sixin which she played keyboardist Karen Sirko.
