The desperate parents of 32 children – hostages taken by the Hamas, pleaded last night with the Palestinian organization to release them. Children are kept at underground network of tunnels, 311 miles long called “Gaza Metro”while Israel is fighting big battles with the men of Hamas to return home.
The Sun today publishes the names and photos of 32 innocent children to support the appeal of their distraught families: “Please free our children.” Who kidnaps children? Where in the world is that the right thing to do?’
A desperate mum whose two daughters were abducted by Hamas men last night asked in disbelief: “Who kidnaps children?” Dafna Eyakim, 15, and her sister Ella, eight, were among 32 child hostages — one as young as nine months old — taken during the murderous attack on Israel on October 7. Desperate mother Mayaan, 50, showed a photo of her tearful girls on mattresses in a tunnel under Gaza. The chilling photo was posted on the Telegram social media channel by Hamas itself with the Arabic message: “Clothe them in garments of prayer” – mocking as it is with pyjamas, transmits the SUN.

It is a horrifying image for any parent, but Mayan was desperate for the Sun to publish it to describe the hostage ordeal. The mother told how the girls went to stay with their dad near her border Gaza to celebrate the 17th anniversary of his kibbutz, Nahal Oz. The dad, his new partner and her teenage son were killed, while the two girls were taken to Gaza. The airport worker asked: “Who kidnaps children? Where in the world is this right? “Hamas had to release them all on the first day. The kids haven’t done anything to anyone. “They are not soldiers, they are not related to any conflict. You must not abduct babies and children. My two children are wonderful, sweet girls who love TikTok and Snapchat and I want them home.”
Among the innocent faces, Yuly Konio, three, smiles a cute smile. The oldest are five 17-year-olds and the youngest is Kfir Bibas, just nine months old and starting to crawl. “Publish for all the world to see”the families say.
International aid organizations and charities are calling for their release. The International Committee of the Red Cross said the families were “sick with anguish”. and added that: “he has made repeated requests to visit the hostages so that we can check on their well-being.” A total of 240 hostages were taken by Hamas.
