Sunday 3 October there is the Hunt for Orange Treasures

An idea for a weekend or a trip out of town to discover a new place and its beauties even by playing: it is there Hunt for Orange Treasures, the Touring Club event that the October 3 will involve 100 Orange Flag Villages throughout Italy, namely those small inland towns that stand out for their history, their wonders, but also for the exemplary way in which they preserve and promote them.

WHAT’S THIS
The Treasure Hunt – which is repeated for the second year after the first edition of 2019 – is an opportunity to experience them by walking along unpublished paths discovering one clue after another in six stages, curiosities and anecdotes about their history, their monuments, traditions, food and wine, but also ancient crafts and unforgettable characters.

At the end there is also a prize, and each time is a special experience.

WHAT YOU DO
Each destination provides different activities: for instance Castelnuovo Magra (La Spezia) and Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole (Forlì Cesena) dedicate some stages of the treasure hunt to Dante on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of his death, while Pieve di Cento (Bologna) proposes a stop not to forget the 2012 earthquake. Letino (Caserta) they try ancient games, while in Revello (Cuneo) and Govoi (Nuoro) the six stages are dedicated to the discovery of taste. Furthermore, very often there are also collateral activities such as exhibitions, markets, festivals, guided tours (you can find some in the gallery above).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
