Sunjay Kapur, an Indian billionaire friend of the Prince Williamdied after a heart attack during a polo game in Windsor, in the United Kingdom.

Sunjay Kapur, 53 years old, was the president of Sona Comstar, a company manufacturer of car components based in Gurgaon, India, founded by his deceased father. He was a passionate pole player and before his death he was participating in the Queen’s Cup Polo Tournament.

Sunjay Kapur’s death was announced in a company’s press release, which spoke of a “sudden heart attack”.

“It is with deep pain that we announce the premature disappearance of Sunjay J. Kapur”, reads the press release, “Kapur has played a fundamental role in transforming Sona Comstar into a global company of mobility for mobility based on innovation, sustainability and the purpose”.

According to the Telegraph, Kapur was on the field of Polo Club gues when he lost consciousness during a game break. Some reports hypothesized that Kapur has suffered an ape puncture on the field, perhaps that he even swallowed it, but the sources of the newspaper have not found confirmation of this theory.

Forbes estimates that Kapur’s equity was 1.2 billion dollars. Kupur graduated from the University of Buckingham and took control of Sona Comstar in 2015, after the death of his father, Sutarder Kapur. The young Kapur was known in India for her marriage to the actress Karisma Kapoor, finished acrimoniously in 2016. The couple had two children and, after the divorce, she remarried with Priya Sachdev, from which he had a son.
