Superfund Day at the 86th TIF: Creating new opportunities for sustainable and regional development in the country

A conference within the framework of the 86th TIF is organized – for the second year in a row – by the Superfund, with the aim of highlighting on the one hand its strategy for the utilization of public property, on the other hand its contribution to the economic and regional development of the country through the Real Estate sectors, of Infrastructure and Logistics.

More specifically, this year’s event will take place on Monday, September 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the “Emilios Riadis” room at the TIF HELEXPO Conference Center. The conference is open to the public, and there will also be live streaming.

The title of the conference, which will be attended by representatives of the Superfund and its subsidiaries, as well as executives from the business and scientific community, is: “Creating new opportunities for sustainable and regional development in the country: the development strategy of the Superfund and its companies in Real Estate , Infrastructure and Logistics”.

This multi-dimensional issue will be approached in the light of the comprehensive development strategy of the Superfund, which is detailed in the Strategic Plan 2022 – 2024. The plan describes the goals and initiatives through which the Superfund, the National Investment Fund of the country, in collaboration with the Managements of its companies, strengthens the actions of utilizing public assets in the Real Estate, Infrastructure and Logistics sectors.

In more detail, during the conference, the dynamics of the country’s Real Estate and its utilization strategies, the vital projects to be implemented and the challenges faced in the utilization of public real estate will be presented. In the field of Logistics, the overall strategy related to the disposal of real estate for the construction of freight stations and the market demand for corresponding spaces will be discussed, while special emphasis will be placed on the modernization of the Infrastructure through the targeted utilization and attraction of capital, such as and the upgrading of hospitals and health centers in Thessaloniki.

The event, which will be prefaced by TIF’s CEO, Mr. Kyriakos Pozrikidis, will be attended by: From the management of the Superfund, the CEO and executive member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Grigoris D. Dimitriadis and the Deputy CEO Mr. Stefanos Giourelis. From TAIPED, the President of the Board Mr. Athanasios Ziliaskopoulos, the CEO Mr. Dimitris Politis, and Ms. Naya Kollia, Chief Investment Officer of PPF. From GAIAOSE, the CEO Mr. Periklis Nikolaou, from ETAD, the CEO Mr. Stefanos Vlastos, from OKAA, the CEO Mr. Apostolos Apostolakos, and from KATH, the CEO Mr. Antonis Bouris. From STASY, the CEO Mr. Athanasios Kottaras, and from OSY, the CEO Mr. Stefanos Agiasoglou, the CEO of ETVA VI.PE., Mr. Thanos Psathas and the CEO of Hellenic Posts, Mr. Giorgos Konstantopoulos.

The CEO of PRODEA Investments, Mr. Aristotelis Karytinos, the President of FDL Group, Mr. Vassilis Karakulakis, Mr. Yiannis Orfanos, Managing Partner of Arbitrage Real Estate, the CEO of Prosperty, Mr. Antonis Markopoulos, representative from EY, and, as a representative of the scientific community, the President of the Medical Association of Thessaloniki, Mr. Nikolaos Nitsas. Finally, it is noted that at last year’s corresponding conference of the Superfund at the 85th TIF, the discussion was focused on the role of public enterprises in terms of sustainable development. The systematic presence of the Superfund at the country’s most important exhibition institution is part of its strategy to highlight its role both to the interested parties and to society as a whole.
