Superfund: New Board of Directors for ETAD

The new composition of the Board of Directors of ETAD (Public Real Estate Management Company) was announced by the Superfund.

According to a relevant announcement, the Board of Directors of the Superfund, the sole shareholder of ETAD, proceeded to restructure the Board of Directors by evaluating, selecting and appointing new members with long professional experience and know-how in real estate management and utilization, according to the procedure defined by article 197 par. 4 of law 4389/2016. based on the criteria identified in the Call for Expressions of Interest.

Taking into account the above, the Board of Directors of the Superfund, unanimously decided the appointment of four new Members and the composition of the new Board of Directors of ETAD together with the two existing Members, is as follows:

1. Grigorios Anastasiadis, Chairman, Non-Executive Member of the Board
2. Stefanos-Dionysios Vlastos, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member of the Board
3. Panagiotis Balomenos, Managing Director, Executive Member of the Board
4. Anna Saipi, Chairman of the Audit Committee, Non-Executive Board Member
5. Chara Vardakari, Non-Executive Board Member
6. Michalis Kandarakis, Non-Executive Member of the Board.

The same announcement states that the goal of the new Board of Directors of ETAD is to accelerate the implementation of important projects aimed at faster consolidation, maturation and utilization of the real estate portfolio as well as increase its profitability and revenues. As a result, it will contribute to the multiplication of the value of the State real estate by attracting investments and the recovery of economic activity both locally and nationally.

Acting as a change body, the Superfund applies to its subsidiaries standards that contribute to the change and modernization of the way companies are governed, whether they are listed or not. In this context, it fully harmonizes its policies with the new corporate governance code of ESED and formulates accordingly the new Board of Directors of ETAD with the corresponding percentage of women participating in it to be 33%.

The Board of Directors of the Superfund welcomes the new President and the new members and wishes good luck in the framework of their obligations and in achieving the strategic goals of the company. At the same time, he thanks Mr. Peza for the services he offered during his tenure at ETAD as President and wishes him good luck in the next steps. The Board of Directors of the Superfund expresses its warm thanks to the other members of the Board of Directors of ETAD, whose term has ended.

Curriculum Vitae of the new Members of the Board of Directors

Grigoris Anastasiadis, Chairman, Non-Executive Board Member: Has more than 45 years of total experience in Auditing, Organization and Business Administration. After a five-year term in the business control and organization departments of ArthurAndersen, he served as a CFO in subsidiaries of international companies in Greece such as Ericsson, Friesland and Vodafone. as General Manager of its Financial Services. He led, as CFO, the successful listing of Panafon SA. (Vodafone) and PPC SA on the Athens and London Stock Exchanges. He has been the CEO of PanafonServicesA.E. and OnTelecoms SA, member of the boards of directors of companies, among others, Tellas SA, PPC Telecoms SA, Wind PPCHoldingN.V., Larko G.M.M.A.E., PanafonServicesA.E. and Unifon SA Studied Economics and Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE).

Panagiotis Balomenos, Managing Director, Executive Member of the Board: Panagiotis Balomenos is a Surveying Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens. He holds an MScinRealEstate from UniversityofReading, UK and a Ph.D. level the object of the real estate market. He has also participated in a professional HarvardUniversity entrepreneurship training program.

Has extensive and diversified professional experience in the real estate market. He was a co-founder and general partner for twelve years in a technical company for the development of private projects as well as, among others, a management consultant in the State Real Estate Company, technical advisor of the Panhellenic Bank, scientific associate of the IOBE and of the Research University. Finance in the field of privatization and public real estate, while he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Ecclesiastical Real Estate Development Company and the Deposits and Loans Fund.

Anna Saipi, Chairman of the Audit Committee, Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors: Anna Saipi holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as the professional certifications of certified public accountant from the Athens Chamber of Economics and Management certification Assurance (CRMA) from the International Institute of Internal Auditors. He is an experienced executive of the operation of Internal Audit with a course of 32 years in the field of Audit and Assurance of Greek and multinational organizations. He has experience in the areas of identification, assessment and management of Business Risks, the organization of how to monitor business objectives, the introduction and implementation of safety valves, while he has managed various projects of Reorganization and Improvement of corporate processes of international scope. During her career, she has gained experience in interacting with International Securities Commissions, Boards of Directors, European Central Banks and International Financial Institutions, as well as with Internal Audit Committees in Greece and abroad. She started her professional career in the role of Internal Auditor in 1989 at the Latsis Group. In 2000 she was promoted to Director of Interior. We control responsibility for all the companies of the Kyriakos Filippos Group. In 2004 she joined the multinational First Data as Director of Internal Audit for Europe and the Middle East (EMEA) and gradually in other countries. Since 2018, she has taken on the role of Vice President International Regions of Fiserv (formerly First Data) for the regions of Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Michalis Kandarakis, Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors: Michalis Kandarakis has more than 23 years of experience in the real estate capital market, having worked in Europe, Asia and the USA covering all relevant sectors such as commercial real estate, industry, non-performing loans, tourism, healthcare and retail. It is a partner in Quilvest Capital Partners, which manages AUM 6 billion. He was also a business partner and board member of Towerbrook Capital Partners in London, and a member of Morgan Stanley’s team that implemented the company’s real estate investment program in Europe. He is a member of the boards of directors of various investment companies and has been a member of the Investment Committee of the funds he managed. He holds a degree in Management from the London School of Economics and speaks English, French and Greek.
