THE James Gunn’s new Superman movie The first teaser was released this Wednesday (18). The preview revealed that the first trailer for the title will be released on Thursday (19).
The production “will focus on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing,” according to the studio’s announcement. The film will be the first film in the new DC Comics universe (DCU).
The superhero will be played by David Corenswet (“The Politician”); Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) will play Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult (“The Great”) will bring Lex Luthor to life; and Skyler Gisondo (“Licorice Pizza”) will be Jimmy Olsen.
“Superman” is scheduled to open in theaters in July 2025.
