For the Country Manager of Kayak in Brazil, Gustavo Vedovato, the perceived preference of Brazilians for trips to national destinations in 2023 is excellent news for Brazilian tourism.

“The willingness of Brazilians to get to know Brazilian cities in 2023 may be related to rising costs for international travel, mainly caused by the high price of fuel and the devaluation of the real against the dollar. On the other hand, this is a great opportunity for the Brazilian tourism market, which has the chance to prepare itself to receive visitors”, emphasizes Vedovato.
