Survivor of plane crash in South Korea arrives at hospital in Seoul

One of the two survivors of the South Korean Jeju Air crash at Muan International Airport, which killed at least 179 people, was transported to hospital in Seoul this Sunday (29).

Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, arriving from the Thai capital Bangkok with 175 passengers and six crew on board, was attempting to land shortly after 9 a.m. local time at the airport in the south of the country, South Korea’s transport ministry reported. .

Two people, both crew, were rescued, and authorities suggested the rest were presumed dead.

Worst plane crash in decades

At least 179 people died in a plane crash in South Korea this Sunday (29), according to local fire and rescue authorities.
