Survivors of the plane crash that occurred last Monday (18) in Acre began to be transferred this Friday (22) to the Burn Treatment Center at Hospital 28 de Agosto, in Manaus (AM).
Passenger Amélia Marques Rocha, who presented one of the most serious conditions, was the first to be transported to the capital of Amazonas. The forecast is that pilot Valdir Roney de Souza Mendes and Mateus Jeferson Fonte will be transferred this Friday (22) and Saturday (23).
The patients were initially treated at a health unit in Manoel Urbano, the city where the plane crash occurred, where young Deonicilia Salomão Kalisto Kaxinawa is still hospitalized.
Two patients remain hospitalized in an emergency room in the capital Rio Branco (AC), since last Monday (18).
Suanne Camelo is in a very serious condition in the ICU and cannot yet be transferred, while Bruno Fernando dos Santos remains hospitalized in a stable condition.
The accident
The small plane, a Cessna Skylane model, crashed one kilometer from the head of the Manoel Urbano runway (220 km from Rio Branco), in an area that was difficult to access. Seven people were on the aircraft that was destined for the city of Santa Rosa do Purus.
The plane crash left Peruvian businessman Sidney Estuardo Hoyle Vega dead and six others injured. The aircraft had its airworthiness certificate cancelled, according to the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry.
