A suspect was shot and died after gunfire with the Military Police on Thursday afternoon (8). The case occurred on São Valério Avenue, in the Morumbi neighborhood, south of São Paulo.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, agents of the 16th Military Police Battalion were routinely patrolling the region when they were shot before trying to approach a suspicious vehicle.
During the exchange of fire a suspect was shot and died on the spot. In the vehicle, the police seized a pistol, drugs and a homemade machine gun.
The case was referred to the 34th Police District and is still under investigation.
