The Pernambuco Civil Police are looking for a man suspected of killing his 39-year-old wife and two daughters, aged 13 and 14, in the rural area of Custódia, in the Sertão of the state. The victims were killed in a fire that occurred last Tuesday night (15).
According to information, the suspect tied up the victims before setting fire to the residence where they lived, in Sítio Santana. After the crime, he fled, and the police are looking for his whereabouts.
In the early hours of Wednesday (16), the Fire Department was called to control the fire and, after extinguishing the flames, the bodies of the three victims were found at the scene.
The Military Police isolated the area for the Criminalistics Institute (IC) to carry out the investigation, which confirmed the triple femicide. The Civil Police are investigating the case and have opened an investigation to determine the details.
The suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown, and authorities are asking for the community’s support.
