Suspected of being involved in the disappearance of a Military Police (PM) soldier in Guarujá (SP), Edivaldo Aragão, aged 36, had his preventive arrest ordered by the Court. Police officer Luca Romano Angerami disappeared in the early hours of last Sunday (14).
The decision was confirmed by the São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP), which informed the report that, in a custody hearing that took place this Monday (15), Edivaldo had his arrest in the act converted into preventative arrest.
This type of arrest can be decreed as a guarantee of public order, economic order, for the convenience of criminal investigation or to ensure the application of criminal law, when there is proof of the existence of the crime and sufficient evidence of authorship and danger generated by the state of freedom of the accused.

Police officer Luca Romano Angerami disappeared in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo, last Sunday (14). The agent's vehicle (a Toyota/Corolla) was found on the same day on the banks of the Cônego Domênio Rangoni Highway. The car keys were in the trunk.
On the same day, police agents were searching for possible people involved in the soldier's disappearance when they detained Edivaldo Aragão in a suspicious manner. At the time, he confessed to his participation in an alleged murder of the PM, a situation that is still being investigated.
However, when taken to the police station, the suspect expressed his desire to speak only in court.
According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), “all circumstances are investigated”.
