A woman was arrested by agents of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), on the afternoon of last Tuesday (10), with several stolen products. The approach took place on BR-101, near São Gonçalo, in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. More than a hundred items were found in the suspect’s car.
According to agents, the products were stolen from several stores in Cabo Frio, in the Lagos Region.
Yesterday afternoon, around 5 pm, federal highway police officers from the Niterói Tactical Patrol Group were carrying out an inspection on BR-101 and were alerted about a vehicle transporting stolen goods.
According to information received by agents, a woman was driving the vehicle and had fled towards Rio de Janeiro.
The agents then managed to stop the car between highways RJ 104 and RJ 106, near Tribobó. The driver was alone and the car was full of gas.
In total, the agents recovered:
- 108 pieces of clothing
- 10 sets of bedding
- 1 hydraulic pump
- 3 hair straighteners
- 7 drills
- 1 robot vacuum cleaner
- 1 speaker
- 1 43 inch TV
- 1 air conditioning unit
- 1 notebook
- 3 cell phones.
The case was then forwarded to the 73rd Police Station in Neves, São Gonçalo.
