Sandro Coutinho Machado Júnior, 23, Suspected of killing former partner Mikaella Sagás, 29 he remains pre-imprisoned preventively after passing a custody hearing on Thursday afternoon (15), according to his lawyer, Lisyane Ferreira. The victim was found dead with a deep cut in his neck on the night of last Saturday (10), inside his own apartment, in Biguaçu, Greater Florianópolis.
According to the delegate Manoel Galeno, responsible for the investigation, the accused said in interrogation that he committed the crime for believing he was betrayed. “In interrogation he confessed to the crime. He says his motivation would have been her betrayal,” said the delegate. The pre -trial arrest warrant had already been issued on Sunday (10).
The Public Prosecution Service of Santa Catarina (MPSC) now has ten days to submit the formal complaint against Sandro.

The defense lawyer stressed that Sandro performed spontaneously and collaborated with the investigation. Case
According to the Military Police, there were signs of violence and a lot of blood where Mikaella was found. Sandro was seen in a nightclub hours after the murder, according to a witness.
According to the witness report, Sandro had a bandage in his hand and said he had ended the relationship with the victim. The same witness said that he tried to contact Mikaella, but the message was only viewed at 10:17 am the next day, which raised the suspicion that the man had the young woman’s cell phone.
The Civil Police analyzed the images of the condominium security cameras, which show Sandro leaving the scene with the victim’s car, a Volkswagen Polo. The clothing worn by him, dirty with blood, was found in the box of the bathroom of the apartment. On site, experts also collected a knife, pieces of clothing and a video surveillance camera installed inside the residence.
According to the delegate, Sandro already had several police tickets, including for theft, drug trafficking and vehicle identifier signal tampering. He is also suspected of involvement in a theft of five vehicles that occurred earlier this year in the Beira Mar Norte region of Florianópolis.
