A 43-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (30) in the city of Camaragibe, in the metropolitan region of Recife. Against the suspect, identified as Carlos Adriano and known as “Nego Dal”, there was an open arrest warrant.
The court order was enforced by teams of the Civil and Military Police of Pernambuco. According to the PM, at the time of the approach, he tried to escape. “He was in front of the house, but, realizing the staff, ran into the residence. The property was already surrounded, and the fugitive was captured,” said Lieutenant Colonel Carla Oliveira, commander of the 13th PM Battalion.
Inside the house, a revolver was seized that would be with the suspect.
According to the Civil Police, Carlos Adriano is one of the men who appear in images shooting rivals on the day of the crime. “The suspect disputes the control of drug trafficking in the region and has an old rivalry with a family. It is a blood war. After the murder of a relative of him, the suspect took revenge by killing family members of the perpetrator of this crime. He is also investigated for involvement in at least five homicides,” said Deputy Roberto Lobo.

Carlos Adriano is the first arrested for involvement in the case. The Civil Police are still looking for four other people who would have participated in the shooting that resulted in the death of the child.
