Swastikas were painted on the grounds of a second Sydney synagogue and anti-Semitic graffiti was found to have been done at a home, Australian police said today, similar events to the previous one. The vandalism happened overnight, police said in a statement. Footage released by the media shows the Nazi symbol painted in red on a wall outside the synagogue in the Newtown district. Another synagogue was found damaged and desecrated with swastikas overnight Thursday into Friday, according to police. “These guys are determined to divide our community,” was the reaction of Chris Means, the state premier in New South Wales (southeast), where Sydney is located. “We will always condemn these actions for what they are: monstrous and horrific,” he added.
