The Swedish parliament today approved an amendment that criminalizes the internet market, such as specific videos offered on sites such as Onlyfans. Users of such sites will still be able to see and buy videos and materials that are offered in general, but will be illegal to request and pay someone or someone to do a specific act, as provided by the amended prostitution law. “It is a new form of sexual services market and it is time to modernize the law on the purchase of sexual services and to include remotely markets on digital platforms such as Onlyfans,” Teresa Carvalho, MP, told TV4.
