A report claiming that some politicians in Sweden represent the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a Kurdish armed group declared illegal by the EU, is completely unfounded, the Swedish Foreign Minister said today.
“False reports that Swedish politicians in democratic organizations represent the PKK terrorist organization,” Anne Linde wrote on Twitter. “These are serious allegations that are completely unfounded.”
An article in the Turkish newspaper Turkiye Gazetesi on Sunday claimed that a Swedish politician had links to the PKK.
