Zurich-based Leonteq is expanding its presence in the DACH region and expanding its cryptocurrency services to Germany and Austria.
Swiss financial institution Leonteq, which specializes in structured financial solutions, has announced a partnership with ICF BANK to provide access to cryptoassets to institutional investors as well as private clients in Germany and Austria. Investors will be able to work with 18 cryptocurrencies, including the most popular ones – BTC, ETH, ADA and XRP.
Björn Geidel, head of Leonteq’s cryptocurrency offering, estimates that the Swiss company already controls approximately 76% of the total market capitalization of cryptoassets in Germany and Austria.
“We are delighted to offer our clients the opportunity to invest in such a wide range of cryptocurrency related topics,” said Heidel.
An ICF BANK spokesman said that investors in the DACH region (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) are showing great interest in digital asset activities in general. He stated that working with Leonteq will benefit both institutional and private investors and anyone interested in entering the cryptocurrency market.
Leonteq is headquartered in Zurich. The company offers structured financial and insurance products. The company manages assets worth over $ 140 billion.
