Sydney Sweeney says there is no support among women in Hollywood: “It’s all fake”

The actress Sydney Sweeney 27, vented about the lack of support among women in the film industry after receiving criticism from a producer for his performance in “Todos Menos Você”.

In April, Hollywood producer Carol Baum even said that Sweeney “isn’t pretty” and “can’t act.”

“It’s very disheartening to see women destroying other women,” Sweeney said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “Especially when women who are successful in other areas of the industry see younger talent working really hard, hoping to achieve whatever dreams they may have, and then try to trash and discredit any of their work.”

“This whole industry, all people say is, “women empowering other women.” None of that is happening. This is all fake and a front for all the other s*** they say behind everyone’s back,” the actress added.

“I’m just trying my best here. Why am I being attacked?” she said.
