90s action star Sylvester Stallone has announced the launch of his own NFT collection inspired by the actor’s various film roles throughout his career.
Last week, Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone unveiled his own NFT collection called PlanetSly. The collection consists of 9,997 artworks, named SLYGuys and created in collaboration with Clark Mitchell, who has worked with Star Wars, Marvel and Hasbro.
Each token includes one of over 200 attributes: boxing gloves or weapons that Stallone used in his films, as well as an image of the actor’s famous dog.
“Each of our NFTs is unique, and SLYGuys has a roadmap that spans months in advance. NFTs are more than just digital collectibles,” Stallone said.
SLYGuys owners will have access to all sorts of privileges, whether it’s Stallone’s signature merch or participation in real events with the actor. The first 25 NFTs, called Golden Signature SLYGuys, will be autographed by the actor and will provide their owners with special opportunities.
Recall that earlier rapper Snoop Dogg became the new owner of Death Row Records and promised fans to make the studio popular among NFT investors. According to the artist, he plans to “promote” celebrities through the metaverses.
