Based on the needs of data-intensive multi-user applications, Synology has introduced two high-bandwidth NICs. They are designed to upgrade compatible Synology storage systems.
The E10G21-F2 and E25G21-F2E25G21-F2 are PCIe 3.0 x8 and have two network ports. The first model with SFP + modules complies with the IEEE 802.3ae 10 GbE specification, that is, it supports 10 Gbps. The second card is endowed with SFP28 modules and complies with the IEEE 802.3ae 10 GbE and IEEE 802.3by 25 GbE specifications, that is, it supports speeds of 10 Gb / s and 25 Gb / s. Both cards support full duplex and port aggregation.
The cards come with a five-year warranty. The manufacturer does not name their prices.
