The Syrian de facto government has condemned the new Israeli bombings on its territory, following successive attacks by Israeli artillery and aviation. As the official Sana news agency reported, Damascus called on the tension, arguing that Syria is not a “threat to anyone” in the region. “We strongly condemn Israeli bombings (…) This escalation is a blatant violation of Syrian national sovereignty and exacerbates tensions in the region, and we have more than ever need to soothe and peaceful solutions,” according to a press office. “We reaffirm that Syria has never been and will not be a threat to anyone in the region.
