SYRIZA accuses K. Mitsotakis of not answering any critical question

By Niki Zorba

Parliamentary isolation of the Prime Minister is seen by Koumoundourou in the “treasury” of yesterday’s conflict between the political leaders over the wiretapping and the EYP, giving an “appointment” for the debate at the Commission of Inquiry, on Monday.

With party sources keeping the decibels of tension high, the government-opposition wiretapping “battle” for the next time at least, will probably continue to rage with extreme polarization and heavy counterclaims.

Examining

According to SYRIZA, after all, the prime minister’s speech was “addressed more to his MPs and ministers who are on a white strike, in an attempt to convince his internal party audience to come out to defend him”.

It was obvious the company from A. Tsipras to exploit to his advantage the heavy climate that prevails in the blue parliamentary group from the shadow of the surveillance case of Nikos Androulakis. That is why he addressed the MPs of the coalition twice, both in his protologue and in his deuteronomy.

In the first, he addressed an “invitation letter” to ND MPs to separate their position from their prime minister and president, while in the second, asking Mr. Mitsotakis to set up a separate commission of inquiry for the SYRIZA government, citing government leaks that he wishes to extend it over the course of a decade, he “nailed” the prime minister that his goal for the investigation since 2012 is nothing more than to “check” political figures such as A. Samaras and N. Dendias.

Unanswered questions

According to Koumoundourou, however, the most important are the questions left unanswered by the Prime Minister and which came from the opposition (in support of the political isolation of the Government that SYRIZA finds).

Given these facts, according to party sources, Mr. Mitsotakis:

1. He did not answer what the alleged national reasons were for the surveillance of Nikos Androulakis.
2. Journalist Thanasis Koukakis was not monitored during the period he was investigating financial and banking scandals.
3. He did not deny the information about surveillance of other MPs, MEPs and journalists
4. He did not respond to the SYRIZA president’s call to repeal the 2021 amendment so that elected officials who want to know if they have been put under surveillance can.
5. He gave no explanation for the diabolical coincidences of monitoring through the EYP and also with the Predator malware.

As for the rest, SYRIZA expects the second half of the parliamentary battle next Monday, during the debate on the establishment of the commission of inquiry requested by Nikos Androulakis. In fact, other information from the official opposition party states that in this debate, A. Tsipras will raise more…dexpanded fields that, according to him, need investigation.
