In other times, absolutely pre-election and definitely “balconies”, last night’s SYRIZA event with speaker Alexis Tsipraswhich took place in Peristeri in order to show that SYRIZA is on the path of absolute electoral readiness despite the denials of premature ones, would be characterized by friends and others as “magnificent”.
This was the goal of the leader of the Official Opposition after all. To make a speech in the “heart” of Western Attica, with a crowd and a pulse, as an antidote, in a way that polls do not share the optimism of Koumoundourou that “whenever polls are held, SYRIZA will be the first party and by a margin”.
However, from the first lines of Mr. Tsipras’s speech, the aim of demonstrating the power of SYRIZA against the opinion polls was evident: This is a real poll in the middle of the summer, full of enthusiasm, first of all giving the “signal” that SYRIZA is not backing down from his pre-election planning which envisaged elections in the Autumn.
The party is unrelenting in its pre-election activities, suspicious as to whether the election alarm for September-October has really been silenced, ready for … Kinetic actions in order to convince that it is not happy about the transition of the elections for the end of the government’s term and he abhors the “ripe fruit” logic.
After all, SYRIZA is “another party” after the intra-party proceedings of May 15, as Mr. Tsipras made sure to explain yesterday (p.s. rather a party that is not going to tolerate any “falsity” they expose, as happened with his uncharacteristic inspirations Chr. Bernardakis to characterize Niki Kerameos as “Pispirigou of Education”, avoiding the deletion by a hair’s breadth, with a statement of remorse at the request of Gerovasilis, at the behest of Tsipras).
These few (and repeated) for SYRIZA’s strategy, which has at its core on the way to the polls, programmatic commitments aimed at “society” and the “world of work”.
The “one-front” with the N.D. and the “gas” in PASOK
From then on, the president of SYRIZA did not set the precedent in terms of his criticism of the Government and the Prime Minister: Failed, tied to a chariot of interests, the worst in the world (sic) etc etc.
Elsewhere was the goal of the “hexapsalmo” towards the ruling faction and its president, with whom, in any case, there is an abyss: The charge of the government with the seven plagues of the Pharaoh, recipient was the president of PASOK and his voters, the anti-right, steadfast devotees of A. Papandreou, who is still in the “marquee” of Harilaou Trikoupi.
Mr. Tsipras demanded that Nikos Androulakis pledge not to cooperate with ND after the election, mocking the president of PASOK that he is talking about a social democratic government, but if he cooperates with ND, who will he do it with:
“How is it that some people tell us that they want a progressive and indeed a social democratic government and at the same time leave open the possibility of cooperating with Mr. Mitsotakis’ ND after the election? Who are the social democrats who will form this social democratic government? Mitsotakis? Voridis , Pleuris and Adonis? Who?” he questioned and … not rhetorically, since he persistently asks for an answer from Harilaou Trikoupis, even attacking Mr. Androulakis for wanting to glorify himself in hiding.
If, however, it is confirmed that the elections will indeed be held “on time”, the incidents between SYRIZA and PASOK will increase and despite Tsipras’ declarations that he chooses the “one-front fight against the right”, the pressure on Harilaou Trikoupis will become suffocating.
