SYRIZA for K. Mitsotakis: The abscess has broken and everything will be revealed whether he likes it or not

The fire of SYRIZA for the surveillances was gathered – again – by the prime minister, this time after his statement.

Koumoundourou, with a harsh announcement against the prime minister (she called him arrogant, unrepentant and a liar), addressed unanswered questions left by Mr. Mitsotakis, describing new revelations: “The abscess has broken and the truth will come out, whether he likes it or not . Developments have already overtaken him”.

Specifically, in its announcement, SYRIZA states:

The 48-hour deadline he gave himself to apologize did not, unfortunately, restore Mr. Mitsotakis’ relationship with the truth even in the slightest. He appeared arrogant and unrepentant in addition to being a liar. He pleaded for reduced imputation, trying to argue that he did not know what was going on even in the most nationally sensitive areas of his staff state.

Specifically:

– He added to the lies of Mr. Economos, Mr. Gerapetritis, Mr. Pierrakakis, and the people around him, who have been denying the surveillance for weeks, the monstrous lie that he knew nothing about the surveillance of Nikos Androulakis. Which he still describes as legitimate.

– He praised the national role of the EYP, but in his attempt to shake off his own responsibilities he did not hesitate to portray it as a service not only disorganized, but also out of control.

– He did not even dare to utter the word Predator, trying to leave out of the frame established surveillance with this software, which the government even denies its procurement by state agencies.

– He mentioned only the case of Androulakis surveillance, but without explaining how and why the EYP decided on such an unprecedented action. He also did not say anything about the surveillance of journalists, such as Th. Koukakis.

– He did not answer the question that concerns public opinion and has been raised by SYRIZA, how many more citizens, journalists and politicians and why has the EYP put under surveillance during his administration.

– He appeared as a reformer of the EYP, while he himself has stubbornly refused all the relevant proposals of SYRIZA and the opposition. He appointed a confidant of his as its head, even changing the law. He deprived ADAE with a nightly amendment of the right to inform the “targets” of surveillance. He organized the cover-up and lie operation to track down Androulakis. So that the propaganda apparatus of Maximus can involve third countries in the scandal, but also channel vile slanders about the president of PASOK-KINAL.

Mr. Mitsotakis was convinced of one thing with the ill-fated attempt of his televised apology. That he is guilty, but also that he does not hesitate in front of any lie, any hypocrisy, any distortion to save himself.

In the end: He did not have the courage to do the self-evident thing for every liberal European democracy. That is, to resign. And this is a big political mistake, which is added to the political crime of surveillance.

Let him be sure that the truth will not be hidden under the cement of controlled information and the mud of his propaganda machine. The abscess has broken and the truth will come out, whether he likes it or not. Developments have already overtaken him.
