The objections that have been submitted to the Central Election Commission of SYRIZA for the implementation of the quota in favor of candidates from the enlargement will be examined tomorrow in a meeting of KEFE.
It is recalled that the president of KEFE, has sent a letter to Alexis Tsipras asking him to relax and especially in cases where the implementation of the quota is obviously problematic, ie “cut” by the Central Committee a candidate with a majority of votes over someone with a minimum of which is preferred due to quota, to expand the central committee (numbering 300 members) to include these candidates.
Alexis Tsipras, as K has already mentioned in a relevant report, sees positively the proposal of I. Nikolakopoulos and any announcements are expected to be made by him at the meeting of the Central Committee on Sunday (it was originally scheduled for Saturday).
The implementation of the quota, however, has caused grievances at the party level with Umbrella executives (all 53 in particular) to “nail” what was done without objective criteria and followed (on purpose) “blurred” tactics from the beginning.
