“SYRIZA PS will re-submit the amendment it had tabled already in September for the reduction of fuel tax,” SYRIZA-PS spokesman Nassos Iliopoulos announced in a statement.
“The Mitsotakis government is throwing society on the rocks by refusing to take measures against accuracy,” he complained, calling on the prime minister himself to “take responsibility for households and professionals who see their incomes disappear.”
The full statement follows:
“The Mitsotaki government is throwing society on the rocks by refusing to take measures against accuracy. They have given 5 billion euros in direct assignments and they are denying the reduction of the fuel tax that will cost 1.5 billion euros for a whole year.
Reducing fuel prices will significantly reduce the price of gasoline, diesel, agricultural oil and gas bills.
SYRIZA PS will re-submit the amendment it had submitted already in September for the reduction of fuel tax.
Let Mr. Mitsotakis assume his responsibilities towards households and professionals who see their income being annihilated “.
