System of a Down in Brazil: First show is this Tuesday (6) in Curitiba

The System of a Down starts this Tuesday (6) the Brazilian leg of the Wake Up Tour. The American band opens the sequence of shows with a presentation in Curitiba and has four other concerts scheduled for the next few days: one in Rio de Janeiro and three in São Paulo.

The set takes the stage of Couto Pereira Stadium, in the capital of Paraná, at 21h this Tuesday. The opening will be in charge of the band Ego Kill Talent, which performs at 7:30 pm.

Four of the five performances are sold out. Only the last show of the tour, which is scheduled to take place at the Interlagos racetrack, in the south of São Paulo, on the 14th, has available entries. Tickets can be purchased in the EVENTIM Official Site and range from R $ 297.50 (half-ticket from the track) to R $ 2,495.00 (full of the VIP package).

Before arriving in Brazil, the System of A Down led the Wake Up Tour to other Latin American countries such as Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia. In each show the band presented a different setlist, making the lives of fans who like to guess which songs will be sung in each show.

System of A Down’s last coming to Brazil was in 2015, when they brought the “Wake Up The Souls Tour”. The first show at Rock in Rio, on a night that also had names like Queens of the Stone Age and Hollywood Vampire (by actor Johnny Depp); The second was at the Anhembi Arena, in the north of São Paulo.
