T. Theodorikakos: Respect to the Greek Police – SYRIZA to stop the slanderous attacks

The Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos with his post on social media refers to the rescue by the Greek Police of 38 illegal immigrants in Evros. Characteristically, the minister wrote:

“The incident of the rescue of 38 irregular migrants in Evros proves how particularly complex and difficult is the mission of the Greek police on the Greek-Turkish border, which is also the border of the European Union with Turkey.

Our police officers together with the Greek army, border guards, are daily confronted with operations of illegal trafficking of irregular immigrants from rings and neighboring Turkey.

The Greek police respects International Law, defends the territorial integrity of Greece and at the same time protects human lives. He deserves everyone’s respect and support and not the unprecedented slanderous attacks he received from the official opposition and various others in recent days.
