T. Theodorikakos: Security is a component of Democracy and at the core of our ideology

Minister Takis Theodorikakos made extensive reference to the government’s work, “in the midst of international crises and challenges”, and to the actions of the Ministry of Citizen Protection, in a long and “accountable” speech, in the presence of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, at an event organized by the Administrative Committee of the Electoral Presence of the Region (DEEP) of Messinia of New Democracy in Kalamata.

Mr. Theodorikakos expressed the belief that in the upcoming elections New Democracy will regain its autonomy, emphasizing that “despite the difficulties, despite the obstacles, despite the crises, despite the obstacles, when the time comes for the elections, we will make New Democracy independent again. government and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, a powerful prime minister “.

I emphasized the issue of security, emphasizing that it is a “key component of democracy” and detailed his work during his 10 months in office at the Ministry of Civil Protection: “Security for us is not a proclamation. In this context, he stated that he attached great importance to the digitization of the ELAS services, the release of the police from the service of court documents, which will be stopped in September, and also the exemption of the police services from the original signature. “The policeman is to protect and not to handle,” said Mr. Theodorikakos.

However, what he particularly focused on was the interventions of the Police on the university premises. “I want to be very categorical.
