Experts of the analytical company Strategy Analytics have summed up the results of the third quarter of 2020 in the global market of processors for tablets. They came to the conclusion that there was a steady growth in the specified market – both in quantity and in monetary terms.
In numerical terms, this conclusion looks like this: compared to the same period in 2019, processors were sold 20% more, while manufacturers’ revenue increased by 28% and reached $ 778 million.
Analysts call Apple the leader, which holds 46% of the market. It is followed by Intel, Qualcomm. Note the big gap between Apple and its competitors: Intel’s share is 17%, Qualcomm – 12%. The top five in terms of sales also included MediaTek and Samsung LSI.
