Take care of your PC: the Rubber Ducky hacker flash drive has become more dangerous. Now it’s universal

The original USB Rubber Ducky hacker flash drive is widely used (it is even openly sold on the Internet) – a USB drive that is recognized by a computer as a keyboard. When this happens, the flash drive begins to enter the given commands – for the system they look the same as if they were entered by a person. Now, in parallel with the Def Con hacker conference, a new version of the USB Rubber Ducky has been released. It is reported by The Verge.

More than 10 years have passed since the release of the original hacker flash drive, and since then it has been transformed several times, but the new version of USB Rubber Ducky has lost the main shortcomings of its predecessors. Previously, hackers had to write their malware for specific operating systems with a specific software version, but now, with the advent of the multifunctional DuckyScript 3.0 programming language, such flash drives can be universal. They learned to identify the system to which they connected, and only after that start executing the necessary code, depending on the computer.

Also, the new USB Rubber Ducky can enter commands with a delay between fake keystrokes to simulate human behavior.
