The Taliban yesterday ordered those still in possession of weapons, ammunition and government vehicles in Kabul to be handed over within a week, otherwise they would face retribution.

He warned the “offenders” that they would be prosecuted if they were found in possession of these items.
The Taliban seized billions of dollars worth of foreign-made military equipment in the weeks before they took control of the capital, following the retreat of Afghan government forces who abandoned everything from assault rifles to US helicopters.
