In their first press conference in Kabul, through the words of their spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban tried to convince the world powers and the fearful population that they were changed.
“We have expelled the foreigners and for this I would like to congratulate the whole nation.
This is a proud moment for the whole nation. There pursuit of freedom and independence is a legitimate right of each nation. The formation of the new government

The security of the embassies is of crucial importance to us. First, we would like to ensure that in the areas where there are embassies, there will be total security. Therefore I would like to reassure all foreign countries and their representatives, their embassies, their missions, international organizations, aid organizations: we will not allow anyone to do anything against you. We don’t want to see any kind of chaos in Kabul ».
The request to the international community is “to recognize borders.
