Tamron 35-150mm F / 2-2.8 Di III VXD lens maximum aperture over the entire focal length range

The Tamron 35-150mm F / 2-2.8 Di III VXD lens will be the first zoom lens with an f / 2 maximum aperture for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Sony E mount. As the model name suggests, the maximum aperture is f / 2 at the wide-end and as the focal length increases, it decreases to f / 2.8. The graph published by the manufacturer gives an idea of what maximum aperture can be expected at intermediate zoom positions. So, the graph shows that the f / 2 value is available in the 35-40 mm focal length sub-range, and in the 40-60 mm sub-range, you can count on the maximum f / 2.2 value. At focal lengths from 60 to 80 mm, the aperture opens up to f / 2.5. Finally, at focal lengths of 80mm or more, the maximum aperture is f / 2.8.
