There are still honest people and that must be celebrated, although what we really need are grateful people. We say this, mainly, because of the following story of a taxi driver who went viral after one of his passengers left her cell phone behind in the car and he kindly returned it to her, but instead of receiving a gesture of gratitude, he got a strong scolding “for being late”.

It turns out that this happened to Richy, a young man identified on TikTok with the user @richy_mx_ who is a driver of a local car. He himself shared the video of his anecdote on his social networks and it began as follows. Now yes, “come with me to see this sad story”.

One fine day, a passenger forgot her cell phone in the back seat of the vehicle, but when she realized it, she dialed the phone to locate it. Honestly, the driver answered the call and kindly offered to return the phone to the place where the owner was, but first he had to finish one of her trips with another client.

It was so that Richy continued his journey with another passenger and between the traffic and the distance, the girl was anxious to recover her mobile phone, so she called him again asking if he would return it or if he would have to report it to the transport platform.

Of course, the driver confirmed that he would return it, but to wait a bit. Upon arriving at the place, the young woman was already waiting very upset and she told him that because of her she would be late for her work, so she would report it.

One of the things that is most striking is that the young woman never thanked the driver, on the contrary, she was scolded and threatened with receiving a report from the forgetful girl. It should be noted that it is unknown if the ungrateful passenger actually filed a report or not, but what is a fact is that we do appreciate and value honest people like Richy.
