Taylor Swift announces film depicting “The Eras Tour”

Singer Taylor Swift will release a film of her current tour, “The Eras Tour”. The exhibition takes place in North American cinemas from the 13th of October.

The images were recorded on the North American leg of the tour, which started on March 17 and lasted until August 9. With crowd records, the show is more than three hours long and is the longest in the artist’s career. Brazil will host the tour in November.

“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful and electric experience of my life so far and I am delighted to say that it will be hitting the big screen very soon. Starting October 13th, you’ll be able to see the concert film in theaters across North America! Tickets are on sale now,” Taylor wrote on Twitter.

Taylor presents her concert in ten acts – each with a specific color palette that recalls the aesthetics of released album covers. The setlist includes hits like Blank Space, Cruel Summer, Love Story, Shake It Off and Anti-Hero.

The return to the international stage marks the celebration of the release of ten studio albums: “Taylor Swift” (2006), “Fearless” (2008), “Speak Now” (2010), “Red” (2012), “1989” ( 2014), “Reputation” (2017), “Lover” (2019), “Folklore” (2020), “Evermore” (2020) and “Midnights” (2022), in addition to the re-recordings of the discography in the “Taylor version” ( Taylor’s Version, in English).

After the cancellation of “Lover Fest” in 2021, Taylor Swift announced The Eras Tour shows in Brazil. The presentations take place on November 17th, 18th and 19th in Rio de Janeiro, at the Nilton Santos Stadium, Engenhão, and on the 24th, 25th and 26th in São Paulo, at Allianz Parque. The tickets are sold out.

All dates in Latin America feature Sabrina Carpenter, a former Disney child actress, as a special guest. The season started on Thursday (24) at Foro Sol, in Mexico City.
