The moment that fans have been waiting for has arrived and swifties of the country: Taylor Swift’s visit to Brazil. The singer begins her performances on “The Eras Tour” this Friday (17).
After spending five months touring the United States, the artist brought the shows to Latin America. After passing through Mexico and Argentina, she disembarks in Brazil.
The singer’s long-awaited tour will have three days of performances in Rio de Janeiro, at the Nilton Santos Stadium – Engenhão, on the 17th, 18th and 19th of November. Afterwards, she will pass through São Paulo, where she will perform at Allianz Parque on the 24th, 25th and 26th of this month.
The six performances are all sold out and, while a legion of Brazilian fans prepare to enjoy the shows, the CNN prepared a checklist of everything you need to know to see Taylor Swift in Brazil.

When do the presentations start?
Brazil is the last stop of the year on Taylor’s tour, which takes place at the end of November 2023. The performances begin this Friday (17th), Saturday (18th) and Sunday (19th) in Rio de Janeiro.
The following weekend, the singer passes through São Paulo, for performances on the 24th, 25th and 26th of November.
What time do the gates open?
The general public will have access to the stadium from 4pm, but there will be early entry from 3pm for those purchasing the VIP package.

- General gate opening: 4pm
What time does the show start?
The opening show is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm, with a performance by singer Sabrina Carpenter. Afterwards, it will be Taylor’s turn to take the stage.
Where will the shows take place?
The Rio de Janeiro presentations will take place at the Nilton Santos Stadium, which is also the city’s Olympic stadium, and is located in the Engenho de Dentro neighborhood, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
In São Paulo, the shows take place at the Allianz Parque Arena, Palmeiras stadium and close to the Barra Funda subway station.
What can you take?
According to the official website of the event in Brazil, fans must take their ticket and personal documents. In addition, sunglasses, food such as protein bars, raincoat, sunscreen, lip balm, portable charger and cell phone charging cable, medicines with medical report/prescription, makeup and Polaroid camera are permitted and recommended. To carry all this, entry with a bag or backpack is permitted.
The event’s production team, however, warns that this list may change without prior notice. “Check before you go to the stadiums and access them, any updates”, they informed on the website.
In October, the event organizers highlighted that it will not be mandatory to carry transparent backpacks for shows in Brazil, unlike what happened in Mexico.

What is prohibited?
The production lists that the items prohibited in the shows are: bottles, cans, drinks, storage utensils such as rigid packaging with lids, helmets, chairs or benches, firearms and bladed weapons, sharp, cutting and/or piercing objects. Also prohibited are chains and belts, fireworks, glass objects, posters made from thick cardboard and/or fixed to wood, rigid straws, animals (except assistance dogs, identified and accompanied by a person with a disability), umbrellas, flammable substances, electronic cigarettes, corrosive and/or toxic substances, magazines, newspapers, books and thermal cups or similar.
Professional cameras or camcorders or those with detachable lenses, sticks for taking photos, drones or similar, umbrellas, flammable substances, electronic cigarettes, corrosive and/or toxic substances, magazines, newspapers, books and thermal cups or similar are also not permitted.
But the list can also be changed without prior notice, according to the event’s official website.
What to present at the entrance?
The mandatory items to present when entering the stadiums are:
- Official document with photo;
- Your ticket(s);
- Half-ticket receipt (if your ticket is half)
Who does the opening show?
Sabrina Carpenter is the singer who performs as the opening act at “The Eras Tour” shows in Latin America. The artist was last in Brazil in May this year, for her performance that was part of the MITA festival lineup.

In Argentina, the interpreter of “Nonsense” It is “Feather” performed for approximately an hour before Taylor entered the stage.

What is the performance stage like?
The stage of “The Eras Tour” has a catwalk that occupies almost the entire track, with a structure of lights and LEDs that can be seen from above. It is likely that the structure in Brazil will be the same.

How long do the shows last?
The presentation, which features more than 40 songs, lasts around 3h15. But the entire show, considering the opening show, can take more than 4 hours.
What costumes does she wear in shows?
Throughout the more than 3 hours of the show, Taylor performs 16 costume changes, which represents more than one different outfit per set in the performances.
