Taylor Swift encouraged her supporters this Tuesday (5) to vote in the Super Tuesday presidential primaries, including in the state where she boosted her career, Tennessee.
“Today, March 5, is the presidential primaries in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories,” said Swift, who lives in Tennessee.
“I wanted to remind you to vote for the people who represent YOU the most. If you haven't already, plan to vote today,” the music star wrote in her Instagram stories.
“Whether you are in Tennessee or anywhere else in the US, check your voting locations and times at vote.org,” he added.
The singer, who is currently in Singapore for her Eras Tour, is registered to vote in Tennessee. She voted by mail in the state's primary, a source told CNN.
Taylor Swift has more than 282 million followers on Instagram. She supported President Joe Biden in 2020, but has not yet declared support for any candidate this year.
