Singer Taylor Swift spoke about the shows in Brazil in a special post published on her social networks this Tuesday afternoon (28). The star visited Brazilian lands in November this year for three shows in Rio de Janeiro and three shows in São Paulo.
With images of the performances, Taylor praised the Brazilian fans and stated that coming to Brazil on tour was an old dream. The singer’s last show took place last Sunday (26), in São Paulo.
“Bringing a tour to Brazil is something I’ve dreamed of for years, and the fans simply exceeded all my expectations,” she captioned it.
The shows in Brazil were the last performances of “The Eras Tour” in 2023. “We officially closed the Eras Tour 2023 and managed to end the year with 6 shows with the most magical audiences, in Rio and São Paulo”, he continued.
“I’m so grateful to my tour family, my band, crew and dancers for everything they’ve put into this tour all year. For the people who came to see it, you were what made those stadiums feel so alive and electric and unforgettable to me. I really feel very proud and excited about what I was able to be a part of. See you in 2024”, concluded Taylor Swift.
“The Eras Tour” will perform again on February 7, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. The singer will also visit Australia, France, Sweden, Portugal, Germany and other countries next year.

Passionate and loyal fans
Taylor Swift moved thousands of passionate fans in the six shows she performed in Brazil. In São Paulo, the singer broke the record for the largest audience at the Allianz Parque stadium. There were more than 50 thousand people at each show, according to Time 4 Fun, the company responsible for bringing The Eras Tour to Brazil.
To ward off the evil eye and bad energy, there was a fan who threw coarse salt around the stadium, in order to have good experiences with Taylor’s time in Brazil.

Others spread curiosities about the singer to anyone who wanted to listen, like the fan who took advantage of the show’s schedule to tell firefighters about the re-recordings that the singer has been making since 2021.

During the shows, fans dedicated themselves to being characterized by the singer’s albums and songs and used and abused bright clothes, cowboy hats and fringed dresses. Most of them chose an era — that is, one of the singer’s phases, each represented by one of her ten albums — to inspire the look.

Passage in Brazil surrounded by controversies
Taylor Swift’s first shows in Brazil took place on the 17th, 19th and 20th of November in Rio de Janeiro, and were marked by excessive heat, the death of fan Ana Benevides on the first day of the singer’s performance, and the postponement of the second show last minute, which would be held on the 18th.
Ana Clara Benevides, 23 years old, fell ill and even fainted. The student was rescued at the Engenhão Stadium, but she did not survive and died in the hospital. There were reports of another thousand fans fainting from the weather in Rio de Janeiro.
In São Paulo, however, the cold weather and the availability of free water did not pose any problems for the singer’s shows.
