Taylor Swift Receives New York University Honorary Award

Starting an artistic career is not an easy decision, since that path involves a lot of discipline, perseverance and requires all the time in the world, so personal issues and even professional education are left aside, to focus completely on being all a star.

And that is exactly the case of the famous singer of pop American Taylor Swift, who after going in search of a career in the world of music left her studies aside. However, New York University recently fulfilled her dream of wearing a cap and gown like a graduate upon receiving a Ph.D. honorary cause.

The last time I was in a stadium this size, I was dancing in heels and wearing a sparkly leotard. This set is much more comfortable.

I know it can be really overwhelming to figure out who to be and when. Who are you now and how to act to get where you want to go. I have good news: it’s totally up to you. I also have some scary news: It’s totally up to you.

Giving thanks to the University authorities for the doctorate they awarded her, the 32-year-old interpreter took the opportunity to thank her parents and her brother Austin for the sacrifices they made for her every day, since thanks to them she managed to go from singing in coffee shops to being in front of all that audience that day.
